Chad Gaston: The Connoisseur Of Table Service

Chad Gaston is a native of Ohio who first found his love for food working directly with it in Both via prep cooking and expo.. After years of absorbing all the knowledge and techniques that he could he made the organic decision to experience the other side of the industry. Working front of house is where he truly fell in love with hospitality aspect, but the family culture of it as well.

Chad has amassed an eclectic range of knowledge over the years, having worked nearly every position in the front of house that you can. The more he saw the more it drove him to study and better himself in the industry.

Particular with the dressings for fine dining, Chad has had the pleasure of working with some of the finest chefs/ restaurants in the northwest Ohio are. Studying under many sommeliers to expound on his passion for wine. He learned under extremely knowledgeable whiskey stewards, until he received his very on certification. As well as exploring his passion for brewed beverages with some talented cicerones.

As a food and beverage expert Chad's passion reaches a wide spectrum of interests and expertise that he is constantly in the pursuit of expanding. Having lived in Detroit for about a year, Chad has felt at home and embraced by his new family of industry professionals and is quite honored to be a BOBS guest.

In his free time you'll find Chad at an upscale restaurant enjoying dinner and a glass of wine, or perhaps a dive bar shooting straight shots of Amari.
